Description
In Hungary the Falco cherrug cyanopus form can be observed. This form of the Saker bred until recently in small numbers in hilly areas on trees and cliffs, but, in part due to protective measures its population has recently increased. Now more common in lowlands, where it breeds in gallery woods, open forests, windbreaks, and occasionally on high-voltage electricity pylons. Migrant (February-November), though part of the population overwinters.
