Description
It is common in Hungary in spring (March-May) and autumn (August-November) transient to fishponds, alkali lakes and flooded grasslands. The largest flocks appear on newly drained fishponds on the Great Plain in autumn, but transients in spring are also numerous. Small flocks regularly oversummer.
