| Description In Hungary regular and locally abundant summer and autumn visitor (July-November), primarily at large Transdanubian wetlands (Lake Balaton, Lake Ferto and Lake Velence) the Danube and on fishponds on the Great Plain. Winter and spring visitors (November-June), mostly immature, are also common. Has recently started to breed in Hungary. Habitat Can be found in the following IBAs 25 Lake Fehér at Gátér |
