Bird of the month 12/2007 Common Gull (Larus canus) 40-46 cm. Slightly larger, than Black-headed Gull, it’s back is darker, and in adult plumage head mainly white, or whitish in all the year. Bill is yellow,. It’s wing-tip pattern is similar to a large gull: black wingtip with small white mirrors. Legs are greyish-green.
