| Description In Hungary the Lesser Grey Shrike breeds in open wooded and shrubby habitats, windbreaks, roadside trees, grasslands with scattered trees and bushes at low elevations. The Hungarian population decreased between 1970 and 1990. Since 1990 some populations have shown signs of recovery. Breeds primarily on the Great Plain, local elsewhere. Migrant (May-August). Habitat Can be found in the following IBAs 21 Puszta at Jászkarajenő 26 Pusztaszer Landscape Protection Area 32 Hortobágy 37 Borsodi Mezőség |
