We will visit four National Parks (Ferto-Hanság, Duna-Ipoly, Kiskunság and Hortobágy) offering us the opportunity to see a great variety of habitats and birds. During birding we try to see the most characteristics birds of Hungary, the Great Bustard, Saker, Imperial Eagle, Great White Egret, White Stork as well as other species like woodpeckers. Hungary is famous about its spas, so we won't miss to try out a thermal bath during our tour. During this trip in the first day we will be birding in Kiskunsag a Pusta (steppe, grassland). Kiskunság is some 70 km South-East of Budapest and is the biggest habitat of Great Bustard which is our main target bird for the day. We will also visit fishponds where different gulls, herons, shanks and waders can be seen. On the second day we will be birding in Zemplén Mountains. Zemplén is an excellent habitat to see woodpeckers and owls as well as raptors. We spend two nights in a lovely small medieval town Tokaj, also very famous of its wine. On the third day we will visit the Lake Tisza, and reach Hortobágy the best marketed birding place in Hungary, where we will spend the fourth day with birding at the Great Fishpond system.

These Saturdays we will devote to the most impressive and powerful birds the raptors. We will visit different reviers and feeding areas in order to see Imperial Eagle and Saker. If weather is favourable we will have a reasonable chance to see other raptor species like Honey Buzzard, White-tailed Eagle, Short-toed Eagle and Montagu's Harrier.
We have developed this one-day trip for birders who just like to walk in the nature without any rush for ticking rare species. On these Saturdays we will focus on three colourful species the Bee-eater, Hoopoe and the Kingfisher and will spend enough time to fully admire their beauty.
