After a 90 minute drive from Budapest we will reach one of the central habitats of Kiskunság National Park, a unique flatland in the middle of Hungary, where beside the fascinating
(that one can never see enough times), we can see many migrating species of the puszta.
We continue on our way to the biggest alkali lake of Hungary, called Kelemen-szék. Here we can experience a wide variety of breeding and migrating waterfowls, including unique species like
- Avocet;
- Kentish Plover;
- Mediterranean Gull and many goose and duck species, including the globally endangered
- Lesser White-fronted Goose; and the
- Red-breasted Goose.
