Description

The Hernád Valley is an important ecological corridor of the region connecting diverse habitats. The valley of the River Hernád is situated among the Cserehát Hills and Zemplén Mountains. The valley of the river is covered by softwood floodplain forests of Salix, Populus and Alnus.
