Description
The IBA is one of the most untouched section of the Danube River in Hungary with large floodplain forests, islands, sholes and backwaters. Since the start of the operation of the Bős hydropower plant the natural habitats have seriously damaged. Human activities include sylviculture, agriculture, fishing, water management, hunting.
