Tour "D4": Börzsöny Mountains and Danube Bend
Description
During this trip we will be birding in Börzsöny Mountains, a range of low mountains situated between the Danube bend and Ipoly river. The Börzsöny Mountains is an excellent habitat for woodland species. In this woodland habitat beside the common Great and Blue Tit we likely see Hawfinch, Song Thrush, Robin and different Woodpeckers (Black, Great-spotted, Middle-spotted) and likely Wryneck as well. Some raptors are also possible like Peregrine, Kestrel, Common Buzzard and Honey Buzzard and we will hear and see various warblers like Whitethroat, Blackcap.
